The polyurethane foam in an Eco-Panel is a thermoset material. It does not melt or vaporize like an open-cell spray foam or expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation which melts at very low temperatures causing a loss of structure and ultimate building collapse.
We’ve never seen anyone else take a less than one-inch thick piece of insulation on their upturned palm and hold a 3,600° F torch on it for long periods of time like we can.
